SE Asia OpenSocial Application Contest

This contest is only for 5 SE Asia countries: Singapore, Malaysia, the Phillipines, Thailand, and Vietnam. All developers from these 5 countries can take part in. Entries are limited to three per person.

The Open registration day is November 15, 2008 and the close registration day is January 10, 2009.

Each entry will be judged by a panel of experts who are employees of Exo Platform, Friendster, Globant, Google Inc, and hi5. Entries will be evaluated on:

- Creativity and user appeal
- Internationalization (Message Bundles)
- Use of other Google APIs
- Cross-platform operability
- Use of App Engine for storing user data and hosting files

* What about prize? :D

The top five entrants with the highest overall scores in each participating country will be awarded an Apple iPod Touch (valued at US$230). In addition, the entrant with the highest overall score in each participating country will also be awarded a Nintendo Wii (valued at US$270).

My application: Music-Engine (in development still) takes second place in Vietnam ;). Don't know how many applications take part in the contest. The list above can say something about the contest activity: slow :(.
From the list, we don't know the place for each application that takes (right?).
Have any winners touch ipod yet :P? As far as I know, no winners in Vietnam have the touch in ipod :).
